Die Alpha Calcit Füllstoffgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG mit Sitz in Köln ist Hersteller und Lieferant von weißen Füllstoffen für zahlreiche Industriebranchen vornehmlich in Europa. In Köln laufen alle vertrieblichen, logistischen, anwendungs-technischen und administrativen Aufgaben zusammen. 

Die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette, vom Rohstoffvorkommen über eigene Bergbau-, Aufbereitungs- und Produktionsbetriebe bis zum Vertrieb, ist in die Alpha Calcit - Gruppe vertikal integriert. Die von der Alpha Calcit – Gruppe gleichbleibende Rohstoffqualität ist für Jahrzehnte dadurch gesichert, dass sich die genutzten Rohstoffvorkommen im Eigentum der Alpha Calcit – Gruppe befinden oder langfristige Kontrakte mit Vorlieferanten existieren. Eigene Produktionsgesellschaften der Alpha Calcit – Gruppe werden dort angesiedelt, wo exzellente Rohstoffe vorhanden sind, die die Herstellung bester mineralischer Füllstoffe ermöglichen. Insgesamt mehr als 115 Mitarbeiter sorgen für Präsenz am Markt. 

Das Produktportfolio der Alpha Calcit - Gruppe basiert auf hochweißen Füllstoffen. Als mineralogisch-chemische Basis werden neben natürlichen Calciumcarbonaten in kristalliner und mikrokristalliner Form, synthetisch hergestellte Aluminiumhydroxide, gefällte Carbonate (PCC), sonstige Silikate sowie Titandioxide verwendet. Einige Produktklassen werden sowohl nicht - nachbehandelt als auch oberflächenmodifiziert geliefert.

Das Portfolio der Alpha Calcit Füllstoff GmbH & Co. KG umfasst:

Calciumcarbonate (GCC): Die Alpha Calcit Gruppe bietet gemahlene, hochweiße Calciumcarbonate in kristalliner und mikrokristalliner Form (Calcit aus Marmor sowie aus Kalkstein), entweder unbehandelt oder oberflächenmodifiziert unter den Markennamen CALCILIT^®, CALCICOLL^®, CALCITUFT^®, CALCIPLAST^® und CALCIFIN^® an. Zusätzlich werden die beiden nachhaltigen Produktlinien ECOCARB^® und CALCILIT^® ECO G aus 100 % recyceltem Pre-Consumer-Calciumcarbonat (Weißgestein) angeboten.

Halogenfreie Flammschutzmittel: Unter der Marke ALFRIMAL® bietet die Alpha Calcit Gruppe halogenfreie Flammschutzmittel auf Basis von Aluminiumhydroxid (ATH) und Magnesiumhydroxid (MGH) an. Beide Flammschutzmittel werden in gefällter und natürlicher Form entweder beschichtet oder unbeschichtet angeboten.

Wießpigmente – Titandioxid (TiO₂): Natürliches Rutil-Pigment, auch als staubfreie Slurry (ALPHAWHITE® TI RC 73 SL / TI RC 75 SL) mit agglomeratfreiem Rutilpigment.

Weitere Silikate: Natürliche Schichtsilikate sowie Kaolin und Quarzmehl für industrielle Anwendungen.

Tailormade Solutions: Die Alpha Calcit Füllstoff GmbH & Co. KG ist in der Lage kundenspezifische Füllstoff- oder Pigmentmischungen für alle Arten von Farben, Lacke und Beschichtungen anzufertigen.

Mechanische Technik

Besondere Anstrengungen unternimmt die Alpha Calcit-Gruppe laufend in Richtung der Entwicklung maschineller Verfahrenstechnologien im eigenen Hause sowie in Kooperation mit Kunden, die als Voraussetzung für die Herstellung von Spitzenprodukt - Qualitäten zur Lösung immer neuer anwendungstechnischer Aufgaben dienen. Zur Sicherung eines hohen Qualitätsstandards wurde seitens der Alpha Calcit-Gruppe seit langem ein normkonformes QMS nach DIN EN ISO 9001 und DIN ISO 50001 aufgebaut mit dem Ziel, eine optimale Kundenzufriedenheit zu erreichen und diese aufrecht zu erhalten.

Zusätzlich bestehen die Produktreihen CALCILIT® ECO G und ECOCARB® KA bestehen aus 100 % pre-consumer Recyclingmaterial und sind durch den oben beschriebenen Prozess nach dem UL 2809 Standard durch UL Solutions im Rahmen des Environmental Claim Validation Procedure (ECVP) for Recycled Content zertifiziert.

Nachhaltigkeit

Alpha Calcit Füllstoffgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, based in Cologne, is a manufacturer and supplier of white fillers for numerous industrial sectors, primarily in Europe. All sales, logistics, application engineering and administrative functions are centralised in Cologne. 

The entire value chain – from raw material deposits through the company’s own mining, processing and production facilities right through to sales – is vertically integrated within the Alpha Calcit Group. The consistent quality of raw materials supplied by the Alpha Calcit Group has been guaranteed for decades by the fact that the raw material deposits used are either owned by the Alpha Calcit Group or covered by long-term contracts with suppliers. The Alpha Calcit Group’s own production companies are located where excellent raw materials are available, enabling the manufacture of the finest mineral fillers. A total of more than 115 employees ensure the Group’s presence in the market. Production sites are located in Germany, Austria, Italy and Turkey, amongst other places.

The Alpha Calcit Group’s product portfolio is based on bright white fillers. In addition to natural calcium carbonates in crystalline and microcrystalline forms, the mineralogical and chemical basis comprises synthetically produced aluminium hydroxides, precipitated carbonates (PCC), other silicates and titanium dioxide. Some product classes are supplied both untreated and surface-modified.

The product range of Alpha Calcit Füllstoff GmbH & Co. KG comprises:

Calcium carbonates (GCC): The Alpha Calcit Group offers ground, bright-white calcium carbonates in crystalline and microcrystalline forms (calcite from marble and limestone), either untreated or surface-modified, under the brand names CALCILIT®, CALCICOLL®, CALCITUFT®, CALCIPLAST® and CALCIFIN®. In addition, the two sustainable product ranges, ECOCARB® and CALCILIT® ECO G, are offered, made from 100 per cent recycled pre-consumer calcium carbonate (white stone).

Halogen-free flame retardants: Under the ALFRIMAL® brand, the Alpha Calcit Group offers halogen-free flame retardants based on aluminium hydroxide (ATH) and magnesium hydroxide (MGH). Both flame retardants are available in precipitated and natural forms, either coated or uncoated.

White pigments – titanium dioxide (TiO₂): Natural rutile pigment, also available as a dust-free slurry (ALPHAWHITE® TI RC 73 SL / TI RC 75 SL) containing agglomerate-free rutile pigment.

Other silicates: Natural layer silicates, as well as kaolin and quartz powder for industrial applications.

Tailor-made solutions: Alpha Calcit Füllstoff GmbH & Co. KG is able to produce customised filler or pigment blends for all types of paints, varnishes and coatings.

To ensure high quality standards, the Alpha Calcit Group has long maintained a standards-compliant QMS in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN ISO 50001, with the aim of achieving and maintaining optimal customer satisfaction.

In addition, the CALCILIT® ECO G and ECOCARB® KA product ranges consist of 100 % pre-consumer recycled material and are certified by UL Solutions in accordance with the UL 2809 standard via the process described above, as part of the Environmental Claim Validation Procedure (ECVP) for Recycled Content.
